Northern California's Carbine and Shotgun Training Program

Paladin Tactical U.S. runs the most comprehensive carbine and shotgun curriculum in Northern California, with nine courses that take students from their very first time behind a rifle to advanced close-quarters and mid-range work. Classes are held at United Sportsmen in Concord, CA, and draw students from across Northern California who want structured, safety-first training that actually builds skill — not just a day at the range.

A Progressive Path, Not a One-Off Class

Our carbine and shotgun program is built in tiers, so every student trains at the right level and can keep advancing as their skills grow:

• Basic Carbine — the entry point for all shooters: safe handling, fundamentals of marksmanship, weapon manipulation, and zeroing.

• Intermediate Carbine — builds speed and precision with more dynamic drills.

• CQB Carbine — close-quarters engagement skills.

• Mid-Range Carbine — stretches distance and precision beyond typical range training.

• Vehicle Counter-Ambush Tactics 2 & 4 — courses for students who want to train for vehicle-related threats.

• Basic, Intermediate, and Advanced Shotgun — a parallel progression for students who want to master the shotgun as a home-defense or duty platform.
