For our CCW classes, you must bring an outside-the-waistband holster for each pistol you plan to shoot. Inside-the-waistband and index-finger retention systems (e.g., SERPA holsters) are not allowed. Failure to comply will result in forfeiting your class fee. For more details, read our blog post on holster selection.

Most firearms training stops at the basics. Paladin Protector goes further — a five-level, 160-hour program that takes you from the fundamentals to expert-level skills. You will be guided through the program by highly-experienced former law enforcement instructors who are intent on seeing you reach your goals.

No, all students must begin with our Basic class (pistol, carbine, or shotgun), regardless of prior experience or training from another school or CCW program.
Why? Our Basic classes aren't just for beginners. We build a specific foundation of fundamentals that our Intermediate and Advanced curricula are designed to optimize. Students who skip ahead tend to struggle and their gaps can slow down the rest of the class. In our Basic classes, even experienced shooters are challenged. We've had competitive shooters take our Basic Pistol class and walk away impressed. Our system is a curriculum, not a collection of standalone courses. Starting at the beginning isn't a step back — it's what makes the advanced material actually work.
