GET THE RIGHT GEAR

Carrying a concealed weapon is a serious business. Invest in the proper gear to keep yourself safe and out of trouble.  Please read our article about Every Day Carry (EDC) recommendations. Your EDC set up goes beyond the pistol; it's the integration of the pistol with the holster, belt, the holster/belt attachment system, ammunition, and magazine holder.

The Paladin Shop offers on-line sales of KORE belts and ALIAS attachment systems. We can deliver to your home or we'll have them ready for pick-up when you come to class.  We suggest purchasing these before your class so you can be ready for the range.

Belts

Paladin recommends belts from KORE Essentials. These belts offer the appropriate rigidness needed to prevent sagging of the holster while carrying. The 1.5" width will allow a snug fit with your holster loops or other attachment system.  The belts will fit up to a 54" waist, but can be cut to fit your dimensions. We offer both Tactical Nylon and Leather options.

We suggest upgrading your holster attachment point to the NeoMag Alias system below. The Alias Belt Receiver integrates perfectly with the KORE Essentials belt.

NeoMag ALIAS

The ALIAS system is a great way to attach your holster to your KORE belt.  First, purchase the "NeoMag Receiver with Belt Bracket" which slides onto the belt. Next, look at the attachment points on the back of your holster. If the two screws line-up horizontally on the upper part of the holster, then you will need the "NeoMag Top Mount Holster Clip." Alternatively, if the screws are located near the bottom of the holster, choose the "NeoMag Bottom Mount Holster Clip."

NeoMag Magazine Pocket Clip

We recommend carrying a spare magazine. NeoMag pocket clips are a great option to keep that magazine in place for quick retrieval. Integrated magnets attach to the mags with the appropriate tension. We have two options for 9mm and .40 caliber magazines: 1) the traditional clip with one magnet for metal magazines, and 2) the NeoMag G with two magnets for Glock magazines. We offer the extended clip versions of the NeoMag and NeoMag-G.  This allows the magazine to ride deeper inside the pocket for improved concealment.

The models we carry do not fit .380, .45, or 10mm mags.

Holsters

Paladin recommends LAG Tactical holsters for concealed carry applications.  They are well-made holsters using quality materials. Check out our article on holster selection for more details. We suggest buying both inside-the-waistband (IWB) and outside-the-waistband (OWB) for each pistol you plan to carry.  Each holster has its own application.

For IWB, choose their Liberator or Light-bearing Liberator models.

For OWB, the Defender is an excellent choice.  For pistols with mounted lights, the Warrior is recommended.

Go to https://lagtactical.com/ and use discount code "Paladin10" at checkout for 10% off.

After purchase, we recommend upgrading the Liberator models with with a Tec-Lok attachment or the NeoMag Alias system for securing the holster to your belt.
