MEET-UP INFORMATION
Time
9:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Lunch:
-
30-minute lunch break from 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m. Bring a lunch or go out to nearby fast food restaurants on Willow Pass Road.
Please arrive at least 20 minutes early to class. Don't be late because everyone will have to wait for you. This is an inconvenience for both instructors and your fellow students. If you're late and miss the safety briefings, you may not be admitted into the class and forfeit your fees. Give yourself plenty of time to get to the range and find parking, especially on busy weekends!
Documentation
Please fill out the two waivers at least three days before class:
-
USI Waiver (USI has a new waiver for 2026. Please complete in order to receive your new "Orange Card." You only need to complete this once per year.)

You will NOT be allowed to shoot if you show up with an improper holster and will be required to register & pay for a separate day.
Please visit the PALADIN SHOP to get the right equipment before class. We offer magazine loaders, belts, holsters, and more.

Range Safety
Report to the range with your pistol in the case. Firearms in holsters are NOT permitted in the USI parking lots.
Once you arrive at the range, put on your holster, if you haven't done so already. At the Firearms Safe Area, ensure the pistol is safe and empty. You may then move your pistol from the case and place it inside of your holster. Maintain muzzle discipline while at the Firearms Safe Area.
Move to the Magazine Filling Area and place 10 rounds in each magazine. Wait for further instruction.
You may only handle your pistol at 1) the Firearms Safe Area or 2) on the Firing Line - Do NOT handle your pistol inside the classroom, behind the firing line, or at the Magazine Filling Area.
Location
United Sportsmen, Inc.
4700 Evora Road
Concord, CA 94520
On weekdays, the main gate on Evora Drive may be partially closed indicating the range is closed. However, it is open for the Paladin Tactical class. Pass through the gate and drive down the hill toward the public range. Just past the public range, you will see a sign for "Education Classrooms." Turn right and go down the hill. Park on the gravel.
If the parking lot is full, park on the pavement next to the "Corporation Yard" which just up the hill and past the sign for the Action Pistol Range. Don't park in the public range parking lot. In addition, if we are shooting on Training Bay 1, you will be allowed to park on that range.
