VCAT 3 (Agency Contract)

VCAT 3

In this advanced class, students will apply VCAT 1 principles to multiple realistic scenarios.   Students evolve from performing rote "scripts"  to a "problem solving" mindset.  The class will cover the following topics:

• Case studies of near and far ambushes
• Disarming threats at extremely close quarters
• Dealing with mob violence while inside a vehicle
• Legal issues for use of force
• Scenario-driven exercises to test tactics and decision-making

Prerequisite:  VCAT I

Required Equipment:

• AirSoft Protection Long sleeve sweatshirt Gloves Groin protection or hand towel to stuffed into pants
• Recommended, but not required: Glock 17/19/22/23 holster Tactical Flashlight
