About the Event
To survive a vehicle ambush you must immediately change the dynamic by establishing dominance over the adversary. Students will learn to use the handgun to counter “near ambushes” (distances under 25 meters). VCAT 1 will cover the following topics:
Demonstration of cover/concealment options around vehicles
Counter-surveillance and pre-attack indicators
Strategies to overcome near ambushes
Live-fire shooting while seated in the vehicle
Exiting the vehicle under fire
