This is an abbreviated 4-hour VCAT 1 class (aka VCAT 1 Lite). See below for the description.
To survive a vehicle ambush you must immediately change the dynamic by establishing dominance over the adversary. Students will learn to use the handgun to counter “near ambushes” (distances under 25 meters). VCAT 1 will cover the following topics:
Live-fire shooting while seated in the vehicle
Exiting the vehicle under fire
Engaging targets while outside of the vehicle
Prerequisites: Students must be U.S. citizens and legally allowed to possess a firearm. Students must have completed Paladin Tactical's Basic Pistol Course, an active law enforcement officer, OR have equivalent pistol training (working knowledge of the pistol including loading/unloading, clearing stoppages, and safety practices).
