Intermediate Shotgun

Goal:  Building upon the skills learned in the Basic Shotgun Course, you will learn how to run the shotgun faster under more realistic conditions.

Course Description:

The course will build upon the gun-handling and technical knowledge gained in the foundation course by pushing the shooter to deploy the shotgun under tighter time constraints and in different positions. The shooter will learn to safely engage targets from positions of cover as well as in a variety of shooting positions. Some movement will also be incorporated into the shooting exercises. Moreover, the shooter will learn how to (and when to) utilize slugs for maximum effectiveness.
