CCW Foundations (Initial/Renewal/Modification)

Initial Permits: CCW Foundations fulfills 8-hours of your 16-hour training requirement. You must also take Paladin's Basic Pistol class for the additional 8-hours.  You can take the classes in either order.

Renewals:  CCW Foundations fulfills the 8-hour training requirement.

Modifications:  Arrive at 12:00 p.m. for your qualification to add another pistol to your existing permit. You will be done at approximately 2:00 p.m. You don't need to pay for a modification if you are already enrolled in the full CCW Foundations class.

This class covers the state-mandated material for CCW permit holders:

• Firearm safety, handling, shooting technique, and safe storage

• Legal methods to transport firearms and securing firearms in vehicles
