Range Safety
Please leave your pistol and ammunition inside your vehicle while the in classroom. However, if you can't secure them, you may bring only cased pistols inside the classroom. Don't bring ammo into the classroom. Leave it outside on the bench.
When released from the classroom to the range, retrieve your gear from your vehicle. Ensure your pistol is in its case when moving from the vehicle to the range. Firearms in holsters are NOT permitted in the USI parking lots.
Once you arrive at the range, put on your belt and holster. At the Firearms Safe Area, ensure the pistol is safe and empty. You may then move your pistol from the case and place it inside of your holster. Maintain muzzle discipline while at the Firearms Safe Area. Move to the Magazine Filling Area and place 10 rounds in each magazine. Wait for further instruction.
You may only handle your pistol at 1) the Firearms Safe Area or 2) on the Firing Line - Do NOT handle your pistol inside the classroom, behind the firing line, or at the Magazine Filling Area.

On weekdays, the main gate on Evora Drive may be partially closed indicating the range is closed. However, it is open for the Paladin Tactical class. Pass through the gate and drive down the hill toward the public range. Just past the public range, you will see a sign for "Education Classrooms." Turn right and go down the hill. Park on the gravel.
If the parking lot is full, park on the pavement next to the "Corporation Yard" which just up the hill and past the sign for the Action Pistol Range. Don't park in the public range parking lot.
If we are shooting on Training Bay 1, you may park your vehicle on that range next to the concrete platform.
