
Paladin Tactical has been designated as an approved CCW trainer for the Union City Police Department.
INITIAL PERMIT
Steps:
Submit your initial permit application to the agency.
Wait for the agency's approval before completing the training courses.
Complete our CCW FOUNDATIONS (8-hours) and BASIC PISTOL (8-hours). Classes may be taken in any order.
After 16 hours of training has been completed, submit the following to the agency:

You will be contacted by the agency when your permit is ready to be picked up.
RENEWING A PERMIT
Steps:
Complete our CCW FOUNDATIONS course or PREMIUM RENEWAL course (check with your agency for their renewal training window before registering).
Once your 8 hours of training has been completed, submit your renewal application. With your application, include the following document:

You will be contacted by the agency when your permit is ready to be picked up.
MODIFY A PERMIT (add/change pistol on existing permit between renewal periods)
Steps:
Sign up for a "Permit Modification" ticket at any CCW FOUNDATIONS course or PREMIUM RENEWAL course and come only for the qualification course.
Once complete, submit your permit modification application to the agency. Include the following document with your application:

You will be contacted by the agency when your modified permit is ready to be picked up.
QUALIFICATION COURSE
25 YARD LINE: 5 rounds
On command, the student will draw his weapon and fire five rounds into the target. If necessary, the student
will reload and complete the course of fire. The student will then reload and holster the weapon.
15 YARD LINE: 5 rounds
On command, the student will draw his weapon and fire five rounds into the target. If necessary, the student
will reload and complete the course of fire. The student will then reload and holster the weapon.
10 YARD LINE: 5 rounds
On command, the student will draw his weapon and fire five rounds into the target. If necessary, the student
will reload and complete the course of fire. The student will then reload and holster the weapon.
7 YARD LINE: 5 rounds
On command, the student will draw his weapon and fire five rounds into the target. If necessary, the student
will reload and complete the course of fire. The student will then reload and holster the weapon.
5 YARD LINE: 5 rounds
On command, the student will draw his weapon and fire five rounds into the target. If necessary, the student
will reload and complete the course of fire. The student will then reload and holster the weapon.
3 YARD LINE: 5 rounds
On command, the student will draw his weapon and fire five rounds into the target. If necessary, the student
will reload and complete the course of fire. The student will then reload and holster the weapon.
Target: B-21
Minimum total number of rounds to be fired: 30 rounds
Time Limit: None
Mininum: 80% Qualifying rounds must be in the 5 ring.
Other requirements: The student shall be required to safely load, unload, and reload their
handgun during the course of fire.
