San Francisco Police Department

Paladin Tactical has been designated as an approved CCW trainer for the San Francisco Police Department.

INITIAL PERMIT

Steps:

1. Submit your CCW Initial Permit application to SFPD.

2. At the direction of SFPD, complete Paladin Tactical's CCW FOUNDATIONS (8-hours) course and BASIC PISTOL (8 hours). Classes may be taken in any order.

3. Submit the course certificates to SFPD.

RENEWAL PERMIT

Steps: 

1.  Submit your CCW renewal application to SFPD.

2. Complete Paladin Tactical's CCW FOUNDATIONS or PREMIUM RENEWAL course.

3. Submit your course certificate to SFPD.

QUALIFICATION COURSE

1)15-yard line: Draw from the holster, fire 5 rounds in 40 seconds.

2) 7-yard line: Draw from the holster, fire 5 rounds in 50 seconds.

3) 7-yard line: Draw from the holster, fire 5 rounds in 50 seconds.

4) 5-yard line: Draw from the holster, fire 5 rounds in 20 seconds.

5) 5-yard line: Draw from the holster, fire 3 rounds in 30 seconds.

(Strong hand only)

6) 5-yard line: From low ready, fire 2 rounds in 15 seconds.

Passing Percentage: 80% (20/25 rounds in the silhouette on IDPA sized target)
