Paladin Tactical has been designated as an approved CCW trainer for the Berkeley Police Department.  

INITIAL PERMIT

Steps:

1. Submit your initial permit application to the agency.

2. Wait for the agency's approval before completing the training courses.   

3. Complete our CCW FOUNDATIONS (8-hours) and BASIC PISTOL (8-hours). Classes may be taken in any order.

   2. SEE BASIC PISTOL CLASS DATES

4. After 16 hours of training has been completed, submit the following to the agency:

   1. PALADIN TACTICAL CCW TRAINING RECORD

5. You will be contacted by the agency when your permit is ready to be picked up.

   
   

RENEWING A PERMIT

Steps: 

1. Complete our CCW FOUNDATIONS course or PREMIUM RENEWAL course (check with your agency for their renewal training window before registering).

   1. SEE CCW FOUNDATIONS CLASS DATES

   2. SEE PREMIUM RENEWAL CLASS DATES

2. Once your 8 hours of training has been completed, submit your renewal application. With your application, include the following document:

   1. PALADIN TACTICAL CCW TRAINING RECORD

3. You will be contacted by the agency when your permit is ready to be picked up.

MODIFY A PERMIT (add/change pistol on existing permit between renewal periods)

Steps: 

1. Sign up for a "Permit Modification" ticket at any CCW FOUNDATIONS course or PREMIUM RENEWAL course and come only for the qualification course.

   2. SEE PREMIUM RENEWAL CLASS DATES

2. Once complete, submit your permit modification application to the agency. Include the following document with your application:

   1. PALADIN TACTICAL CCW TRAINING RECORD

3. You will be contacted by the agency when your modified permit is ready to be picked up.

4. With Your Handgun Holstered Or A Low Ready Fire 5 Rounds Center

Mass. Reload And Holster.

Time: 10 Seconds

6. With Your Handgun Holstered Or A Low Ready Fire 5 Rounds Center

9. With Your Handgun Holstered Draw And Fire 5 Rounds Center Mass.

Reload And Holster.

Time: 30 Seconds

10. With Your Handgun Holstered Or A Low Ready Fire 5 Rounds Center

Mass. Reload And Holster.

Time: 15 Seconds

Qualification is over: Unload Handgun and Perform 3 Step Safety Check. When You Are Satisfied Your Handgun Is Safe And Empty You Are Clear To Holster.

Maximum Points: 250

Minimum Passing: Score 175 (70%)
