Paladin instructors are DOJ-certified and recognized by the Sacramento County Sheriff's Office.  


INITIAL PERMIT

Steps:

  1. Submit your CCW Initial Permit application to the Sheriff's Office.

  2. When directed by the Sheriff, complete Paladin Tactical's CCW 1 (8-hours) and CCW 3 (8 hours). Classes may be taken in any order.

  3. Submit the two 8-hour course certificates to the Sheriff's Office.

RENEWAL PERMIT

Steps: 

  1.  Submit your CCW renewal application to the Sheriff's Office

  2. When directed by the Sheriff, complete Paladin Tactical's CCW 1R course.

  3. Submit your course certificate to the Sheriff's Office.

QUALIFICATION COURSE


Target:

B-27 target

Stages:

  1. 15 yard line: 6 rounds in 30 sec

  2. 7 yard line: 6 from standing, reload, 6 from kneeling, reload, 2 from kneeling in 45 seconds

  3. 7 yard line: 6 rounds in 10 sec

  4. 7 yard line: 6 rounds strong hand, reload, 6 rounds support hand

  5. 5 yard line: 3 rounds in 4 sec, repeat twice

  6. 3 yard line: 2 rounds in 3 sec, repeat twice

Total: 50 rounds


Passing Score: 

5 points for each round inside of the 7 ring

Passing: 200/250 or 80%

Maximum number of pistols: 3
