Marin County Sheriff

Paladin Tactical has been designated as an approved CCW trainer for the Marin County Sheriff's Office.  

INITIAL PERMIT

Steps:

1. Submit your CCW Initial Permit application to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.  

2. Complete Paladin Tactical's CCW FOUNDATIONS (8-hours) and BASIC PISTOL (8-hours). Classes may be taken in any order.

3. Submit the two 8-hour course certificates to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.  

   
   

RENEWAL PERMIT

Steps: 

1.  Submit your CCW renewal application to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.  

2. Complete Paladin Tactical's CCW FOUNDATIONS course.

3. Submit your course certificate to the Marin County Sheriff's Office.

QUALIFICATION COURSE

Target:

12" X 16" target

Stages:

1. 1.5 yard line: 5 rounds; strong hand only

2. 3 yard line: 5 rounds; strong hand only

3. 5 yard line:  5 rounds, reload, 5 rounds; two hands

4. 7 yard line: 5 rounds; two hands

5. 10 yard line: 5 round; two hands

Total: 30 rounds

Passing Score: 

21/30 or 70%
