About the Course

You won't find too many courses out there like this!  We review the basics and then work our way up to scenario training in a professional shoot-house. Realistic scenario training is an opportunity to learn how to address violence in a safe and professional environment. NO LIVE FIRE IN THIS COURSE.

CCW 2 covers the following topics:

  • Review of legal considerations in self-defense

  • Decision-making

  • Drawing from concealment

  • Tactical movement in a crowded environment

  • Self-defense scenarios using AirSoft pistols against adversarial role players

Required Equipment:

  • AirSoft Protection

    • Long sleeve sweatshirt, preferably with a hood

  • Recommended, but not required:

    • Glock 17/19/22/23 holster

    • Tactical Flashlight

    • Gloves

Dan Butler

Dan Butler

Dan retired from federal law enforcement after 24 years of service. He is skilled in crisis management, criminal investigation, intelligence, and law enforcement training. His assignments included SWAT Senior Team Leader (tactical commander), Weapons of Mass Destruction Coordinator, Chairman of the Bay Area Terrorism Working Group (BATWinG) and Supervisory Special Agent. Over the last 20 years, he has provided tactical/firearms instruction to hundreds of local, federal, and foreign law enforcement officers. He is certified as a firearms instructor by multiple agencies including the California Department of Justice. Dan has a Ph.D in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of California and is a nationally-registered Emergency Medical Technician (EMT).
